There isn't much I would change about this dog to make her my "perfect" dog. For her sake, I would give her more substantial bone and a more flexible body. She is a 100-mile-an-hour bitch that will run herself into the ground. She has never quit anything. She has to be managed and "advised" when to quit. She has a joyful personality and loves to be involved in whatever is going on. I use to take her to a horse farm where I boarded my horses and she loved being involved in the "job" of taking care of them. I stopped bringing her there when she started "managing" the tractor. (She would grab hold of the big knobs on the tractor's tires and try and kill it. It was kind of scary to watch her hang off the tires while it was moving.) She is worked in French Ring Sport and brings her intensity and joy to that as well.

I remember the first time I told her "no". She stepped back, waited a heart beat, then went to find something else to do. I was stunned. 15 years of APBTs had conditioned me to be ready to make my point. None of them had just taken it in stride and moved on so quickly. "What the hell?", I thought, "Is that the way all Bouviers are?" If that's the case, I gots to get me more Bouviers! Opus later taught me that no, not all Bouviers are content to let their person make the decisions. And, in fact, Georgia will give me the finger over some issues like any dog, but she is always involved. She always wants to be doing something with me. That is priceless to me as my companion and foundation bitch.

Georgia has what is called an "old fashioned" coat. She looks like the Bouviers from the 40s and 50s. Of all the dogs I've owned, her coat is the easiest I've ever had to maintain. I wish all my Bouviers has a coat like this!

She is the dam of our "A" Litter.

Georgia and Opus in the back of the new truck the day I got it!

It was always "their" truck.

Georgia at about a year and a half with a very hairy Opus.

Georgia 2 days before she had her puppies. I told her she looked like a Rottweiler!

Georgia at 15weeks. That bumper is attached to a lunging whip. Georgia LOVED this game as a puppy. Now she's too fast to play - I can't get it moving!

Georgia at a year old with Opus out in the woods.

I've always thought this was a funny picture. OFA Excellent!
